Britain's 22nd
Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) is the world's premier
elite fighting force. Whether operating deep behind enemy lines in a
desert or jungle conflict, or tackling terrorism head on, the
professionalism and dedication of the SAS is legendary.
Squadrons within the regiment are cycled through counter-terrorist duty in
the Counter Revolutionary Wing. The CRW is active domestically as well as
all over the world doing intelligence gathering, security detail, and
hostage rescue operations (conducted by the Special Projects group of the
Wing).
